GOLDEN WEST TEE (GREEN)

The Golden West Tee exhibits an old-time scene of Reno from the view of a rancher. Mountains lie in the distance, beyond the city skyline, and a big horn sheep, the state animal, watches the rancher’s next move.

Sagebrush depicts the ruggedness of the outskirts of Reno to the east, and a directional sign displays the nearest outposts: the Capitol of Carson City; the first settlement in the Nevada Territory of Genoa; the towns of Eureka & Goldfield; the obscure facility of Area 51; and the Capital of Second Chances, Las Vegas.

The overhanging sign reading “Curly Wolf” and “Reno, Nevada” is inspired by the Harold’s Club casino sign that was situated in downtown Reno during the 1900s.
